About

Alex Cowen is a Bloomington, Indiana–based actor and a 2024 graduate of Indiana University, where he earned a BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Theatre. A versatile stage and musical-theatre performer, his recent credits include Gene in Wordplay at the IU Media School and Remy / Robert / Johnny in Interpretations: Seances Through Time. His earlier work spans a wide range of roles — Tom Collins in Rent, Benny Southstreet in Guys and Dolls, Lazar Wolf in Fiddler on the Roof, and The Mysterious Man in Into the Woods among them — with companies including Seattle Public Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and Bellevue College. Alex trained at Cornish College of the Arts and Seattle Children's Theatre, and brings strong memorization, a professional demeanor, and a can-do attitude to every production. He is currently seeking representation.
